There are a number of good courses within striking distance of Mor O Gariad.

My favourite is Cardigan Golf Club (https://www.cardigangolfclub.co.uk/) which is about 40 minutes drive away. Its a lovely links course with absolutely fantastic views (see the picture below).  The course is well maintained and reasonably challenging without being too difficult! I absolutely love playing there.  The club house is good - they serve decent food and there is a nice patio outside from which you can enjoy the view.

A nice but cheaper option is Cwmrhydneuadd golf club (Pentregat, Llandysul SA44 6HD, 01239 654318) which has a lovely, quirky 9 holes set in a beautiful, narrow valley. It is about half an hour from Mor O Gariad and is very reasonable price-wise and a lot of fun. Another course that I really liked is Borth and Ynyslas (https://www.borthgolf.co.uk/course-introduction). Its a lovely little links course about an hour's drive north from New Quay.  My mates and I really enjoyed playing there so it was worth the journey.  The club house was pretty tired and basic when we visited - not sure if any refurb was planned, but the golf made it a good trip.  Here's a picture of the course:
